Built in 1852 in Kingston, ON. The Arabia was bound for Midland, ON, in October 1884 when she was blown ashore by a gale, and later washed into deep water. The crew abandoned in her yawl and were picked up by a passing tug.Sailed to Glasgow with wheat and flour in 1854 and remained in the coasting trade of Britain for a year or so.

Rebuilt in 1863, 1874, major repair in 1882.  Wreck found 1971. An anchor with the name A.E. Hart was found on the wreck.
